As part of the knowledge requirements for most construction
related level 2 NVQs, learner need to be able to cite the following charts:
THE HSE (Health &
Safety Executive) Top 10 Safety Risks:
- Ladder falls
- Fragile roof falls
- Lifting operation injuries
- Site plant strike
- Site plant overturning
- Scaffolding falls
- Internal void falls
- Asphyxiation poisoning
- Failing excavation
- Mobile working platform entrapment
THE HSE (Health &
Safety Executive) Top 5 Health Risks:
- Asbestos exposure
- Silica exposure
- Manual handling injury
- Excessive noise injury
- Excessive vibration injury
