Priestman Associates LLP will soon be happy to announce the facility to deliver the QCF Unit certificated course: Understanding the Maintenance & Repair of Traditional (Pre-1919) Buildings.

The course may even be delivered at your firms premises.  The programme is instructional with an end-test.  Successful candidates will receive a QCF Unit certificate.

Principles of Construction Site Supervision TM

This course is designed to support evidence gathering for a Level 3 NVQ in Construction Occupational Work Supervision learner, or to complement their understanding following achievement. The content of the course is instructional with an end test.

Course content includes:
  1. How to lead a team
  2. Motivation skills
  3. Dealing with poor quality
  4. Site Supervisor documentation
  5. Communicating with line managers and site agents

The course has been designed to either assist with the knowledge criteria of learners undertaking the Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Works Supervision or to assist achievers of the award with ongoing professional development.

1-5 day (profiling dependent) Training Course in
Principles of Construction Site Health & Safety (c)

This course is a module of the specialist apprenticeship programmes in Façade Preservation, Stone Fixing and Stone Paving, which has been authored by Priestman Associates LLP.  It covers the knowledge requirements for the aforementioned NVQs health and safety units at level 2.

BREAKING NEWS
The course has recently been approved by CSCS as equivalent to the level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment qualification, which forms part of the application requirements for applying for or renewing a green CSCS Laborers card.

The content of the course is instructional with recorded knowledge assessments of the learner conducted.

Course content includes:
  1. Health & Safety legislation
  2. Risk Assessment & Method Statement
  3. Safe Manual Handling
  4. Safe Working at Height
  5. Site Health Risks
  6. Working Safely with Plant and Equipment
